The trip to Anthem and Prescott

A few months ago, we planned a nice trip to Prescott to see their holiday parade and tree lighting. As Darla and I planned the day, we decided that we would do some shopping at the Anthem outlet mall – even though it would make the day a little hectic.

We figured that if we showed up at the mall at 9am and left at 11:30am, we’d still have time to make the parade at 1pm.

We got to the mall at 9:45, which worked out because it didn’t actually open until 10. (It’s generally a good idea to check to see when a place opens before you go there.) We spent more time there than we had planned and ended up eating lunch there too. We totally missed the parade and didn’t get to Prescott until after 3pm.

Darla was feeling horrible by the time we got to Prescott. We’re guessing something she ate at the outlet mall’s food court didn’t agree with her.

Because she was feeling sick, we were only able to stay in Prescott for about 30 minutes. We got some good pictures and had fun, but it definitely wasn’t the day we planned.

Photos from the trip are below.
