Anna has learned our real names
Friday, December 4th, 2009Anna and the hoop
Monday, September 14th, 2009Anna has been begging us all day to get a “hoop”. I gave her a baseball after our weekend away from her and she’s been wanting to play basketball with it.
Basketball isn’t a foreign game to her. Our chiropractor has a hoop mounted up high and Anna wants to dunk every time we go there.
After work today, we went out and bought Anna a Nerf hoop and mounted it to her crib. We nearly had to force her to eat dinner because she wanted to go to her room and play with it.

Thursday, May 21st, 2009Canada is cold. We’ve been told that it’s the coldest winter in 20+ years. Lucky us!
Anyway, we’re surviving and trying to keep warm. We’ve met lots of family for the first time, including Darla’s birth dad and his wife. There are plenty of pictures in the Flickr set.

Thursday, April 2nd, 2009Anna and the pink hair
Wednesday, April 1st, 2009Sick of having old men think Anna is a boy (although, their wives often correct them), we decided to dye her hair to a more girlie color. It’s not ideal, but it should keep them from saying “What a big boy!” and “How old is he?”.

For those with kids that are thinking about dyeing their hair, there is a kid-safe, no-tears brand of hair dye called Loopflairs. That’s what we used.

The flight to the east
Friday, May 16th, 2008Annaleigh did very well on her first plane ride. She was quiet and happy until the last 10 minutes or so. She was having a problem popping her ears on our descent, so she was pretty fussy. Once we landed, she was just fine. A lot of people complimented us on how well-behaved our daughter was. It was a huge relief to Darla and I. Both of us had been stressing out about this for the last couple weeks.
Abby and me
Saturday, May 3rd, 2008I’ve been spending a lot of time with my cousin Abby lately. She’s so fun to play with.
Check out some of the great photos that Mommy and Daddy took of the two of us. There’s even a video of her pushing me in one of her doll strollers.
And then the princess rested

Yes, we put her in the chair. No, we didn’t buy it. Maybe when she’s older and can sit up on her own without falling over.
Anyway, there are lots of new photos in the Flickr gallery.
Okay, okay… so I've been busy…

Saturday, December 22nd, 2007I'm one month old today!
Wednesday, November 21st, 2007It’s hard to believe that one month has gone by already. It seems like just yesterday I was being born.
Let me show you how I celebrated my one-month birthday.

Annaleigh arrives
Tuesday, October 23rd, 2007On Sunday, October 21st at 4:22 p.m., Darla and I welcomed our daughter Annaleigh Kate into the world. She was 6lb 8oz, 19 inches long, and has ten fingers and ten toes.
It was a very emotional experience, as most of you can probably imagine. Here are some photos taken over the recent days.
The room is finished…
